Valerie Majors-Penner teaches U.S. history survey courses. Her research interests include the World War II homefront, late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century technological and cultural history, and public history. She is certified in collections management and served four years as executive director of the Edison Museum. She also works as a freelance book editor.
