NEST: New Engineering Student Talent

Starting college is a big leap. In the College of Engineering, we believe it’s also the perfect time to grow into the leader you’re meant to be. That’s why we have our N.E.S.T. Program — a dynamic leadership, mentorship, and soft skills development program tailored just for new engineering student talent.

The N.E.S.T. Program is a year-long program designed to help first-year students transition smoothly into college life while building the tools they need for personal and professional success. Through a mix of interactive volunteer opportunities, peer mentorship, community projects, leadership opportunities, and more - you’ll build confidence, sharpen essential skills, and connect with a network of mentors and fellow students who are ready to support your journey.
